What kinds of clients do you work with?
We work with individuals, couples, families, mature students, newcomers, and groups navigating issues such as anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, faith-based concerns, and emotional burnout. Our approach is integrative, trauma-informed, culturally aware, and rooted in evidence-based practices.
Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?
Yes, therapy is available virtually across Ontario and in-person (location-dependent). Flexible evening and weekend sessions may also be available upon request.
How much does therapy cost, and is it covered by insurance?
Session fees range from $100–$150 per session, depending on the service. Many extended health insurance plans cover psychotherapy by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP / Qualifying). You will receive an official receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Do you offer sliding scale or reduced-cost sessions?
Yes, we offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots that are available to students, low-income clients, and individuals in transition. These considerations are based on need and availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is accepted via e-transfer, cash or PayPal at the time of session unless otherwise arranged. Invoices and receipts are automatically sent for your records or insurance claims.
How do I book a session or consultation?
You can request an appointment through the contact form, email, telephone call, WhatsApp messenger, or booking link. A free 20-minute consultation is offered to help determine if we are a good fit before you commit to therapy.
Do you offer group therapy, workshops, or programs?
Yes, we offer group therapy, support circles, and psycho-educational workshops are offered on demand based on interest and topic (e.g., trauma healing groups, newcomer adjustment, faith & mental health, emotional regulation, etc.). You may join an existing group or request one for your community/organization.
Do you provide premarital or couples counselling?
Yes, we offer Couples sessions which focus on communication, attachment needs, conflict resolution, emotional safety, and long-term relationship goals and we also offer Premarital counselling that help couples establish a strong foundation before marriage.
Do you offer speaking engagements or training?
Yes, I speak at churches, colleges, agencies, and community organizations on topics such as mental health, trauma, faith and psychology, newcomer resilience, emotional regulation, and burnout. Speaking fees and format are customized based on audience size and need.
What can I expect in my first therapy session?
The first session is focused on understanding your goals, background, current challenges, and what you need from therapy. We’ll discuss consent, privacy, boundaries, and co-create a plan that feels safe, collaborative, and manageable.
What is Christian counselling?
Christian counselling integrates psychological therapy with biblical truth and faith-based values. Sessions may include prayer, scripture reflection, or spiritual conversations that are always based on client comfort and consent.
Do I have to be Christian to receive counselling?
No. we support clients of all beliefs, backgrounds, and worldviews. Faith-based elements are optional and only included if you request them.
How is trauma-informed counselling different?
Trauma-informed care focuses on safety, empowerment, nervous system regulation, and understanding how past experiences affect present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The approach is non-judgmental, paced gently, and prioritizes consent.
Can faith and therapy work together?
Yes. Many clients find that integrating prayer, scripture, and spiritual meaning helps deepen healing, rebuild hope, and strengthen identity.

How many sessions will I need?
Each person’s journey is different. Some clients notice changes after a few sessions; others prefer longer-term support. We decide together based on your needs and goals.
Do you pray with clients?
Only if requested. You are free to include prayer or keep sessions psychological only.
Can I bring my Bible or faith questions?
Absolutely. Sessions are a safe space for emotional, relational, and spiritual processing.
